YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yoyoyoyoyoyo, we are livelivelivelive! This is DJ Wise, back on the scene!! Sorry for the wait. Don't think this "update the blog everyday" thing will work out. One thing, my computer's hard drive is fucked up, so I'm using my brother's computer on a limited basis. Second, while my life is generally exciting, there are some things I cannot reveal to y'all because I'm a marked man and any classified info I give to you means I must...kill you. Sad, but true.

HOWEVER! I can inform you about my latest adventure, where I was walking calmly down the street to the store and was suddenly surrounded by 10 ninjas!! Using my great DJ skills passed down through many generations, I fought for my life against the 30 vicious ninjas, taking blow after blow, but dishing them back two-fold. As I was fighting the 50 ferocious ninja, I was slowly tiring out, when all of a sudden, the 70 ninja backed off in fear. In curiousity, I looked around and came face to face with...a mouse. A tiny little mouse. I failed against 200+ ninja, but a tiny, little mouse scared them off?! Well, to say that I was embarrased is an understatement. I hid my face in shame, part of the reason why it has been so long since I've posted. But here I am, overcoming my shame of being outshone by a tiny, little mouse. Well, that's all I gots to say for now. Until next time my friends!! DJ Wise.....OUT!! PEACE!

YOO!! A second post in one day. Don't get used to it. I'm lazy, mothafucka. But yeah, Slow day. Get my bearings back and adjust to home life in Charlotte. So get this: I was watching Good Morning America in the morning and they had Bristol Palin for an interview (She doesn't sound like her mother! dontcha ya know?! O.O). They were talking about her pregnancy and her newly born child. And they were being all gushy, mushy about it. But then they turned the discussion toward Sex Ed., a topic of concern among the average American family due to the rise of teenage pregnancies. Bristol, having been one of the many teens who experimented and became pregnant, spoke on this issue and how she was a strong advocate of....ABSTINENCE?! I was like, WORD?! She cannot have been serious. Of course, I understand that this view is probably something that her mother pushed on her, but still....It was obvious that Ms. Palin (her boyfriend left her...probably went to knock up another girl) did not need to practice abstinence but more importantly, needed to practice a lil thing called 'safe sex'.

There's no point beating around the bush, folks. Sex and all things associated with it are far more common in our society these days. Porn is soo engraved in our mainstream media, that it is exposed in every form to people of all ages, even kids. Don't be blind, people, the majority of your children 10 & up know about porn, sex, etc and/or have witnessed some form of pornographic material. Thank the internet. There is truly nothing to be done to regulate this growing industry. So we live in a society that is hypersexualized, where basically everything is relating to sex in some form or fashion. Kids grow up with this influence; they grow up with this knowledge. They get curious when they get to that age. Not to mention, a lot of youth have parents who were only in their 20's when they their first child. So that stigma of having children young is implanted in their mind. But most importantly is the curiosity they have for all things associated with sex. It becomes something that is discussed frequently, especially in high school, when most unwanted teenage pregnancies occur. Trust me, I've been in high school, I've heard the discussions, I've particiapted in it, etc. It is most definitely there.

Practicing abstinence is almost moot point in this day and age, unless of course the child comes from a very strict, moral, and religious family. But that type of family is very rare nowadays, even in the Asian and Indian families. So the thing that needs to be practiced is safe sex. The youth knows about sex; they know the act of it, for the most part. Teach them how to be safe about it, and how to make good decisions. If they make the decision to be abstinent, good for them. But if they make the decision to have sex after a date or something, then teach them how to be safe. We, as humans, are naturally curious. We often like to experiment and check out new things. It's natural. We just need to learn how to be safe about it. That's my spiel about it. You can agree or disagree, it's up to ya. But that's my take y'all. Teach safe sex. Allow our children the ability to make decisions while they are fully aware of the consequences and know how to be safe. Sarah Palin failed in this regard, dontcha ya know.

But that's what I got. Just something to think on, I suppose. Gonna go nod my head to some music and just chill. Slow day, but I'll try and make up for it on Thursday. DJ Wise is on the rise of this Quiet Storm that's gonna take us above the norm....and I'm out. PEACE! and much love to y'all.

DUDE!!!

Oh mayne! Ya know, I wasn't gonna post anything until later, but damn!! Aight, so yesterday evening, yo man, DJ Wise was packed up and waitin' on the 'rents to pick him up from school. Semester's done, summer's startin', happiness abound, yada yada yada. I'm mindin' my own own business, sleepin' on the desk cuz I'm "Cool Like Dat" and just chillin' like a villian. All of a sudden, I hear the wind start to pick up and the rain come down harder. I'm thinkin' to myself, "Ain't nothin' bd. Just heavy weather an' the such, ya dig?" However, the winds increase and the rain comes down harder, and people are runnin' in the building like mad fools, ya know? Like the world is gonna end n' shit. So, as curious as always, DJ Wise takes a peek outside the window to see what is a brewin' at NC State. Lo 'n' behold, I witness the precious Quad being flooded with tons o' shit flying everywhere. WE GOT A DAMN TORNADO COMING TO CAMPUS!! HOLY SHIT! But yeah, that shit was crazy. It lasted for a good, oohhh, 30 to 45 minutes. When that shit was over, the water was like deep enough to go swimmin' in. Hey, maybe people could play water volleyball at Tucker Beach (which was submerged). Yeah man, that shit was crazy, yo. What a way to be sent outta NC State and into the summer.

But that's what I got for y'all right now. I'll drop some stuff for ya tonight, give ya a recap, bust a couple of rhymes, drop some knowledge, ya dig?? PEACE! and much love to y'all.
